ProSeed Hackathon is a 24-hour hackathon launched by ProSeed, a non-profit entrepreneurial incubator platform. The event aims to convey an idea that hackathon is not a competition only for tech-savvy people, but all students with innovative and entrepreneurial mindset. We encourage college students from all backgrounds to learn, build and share their innovative ideas in a welcoming atmosphere.
Requirements
First, all hackers in the teams must be registered through Google Form as ProSeed Hackathon 2022 participants. We will not accept any other participation.
- You are required to record a 3-minute video including:
- Problem statement (30 seconds)
- Walkthrough your product (e.x. Prototype + MVP) (2 mins)
- Next Step (30 seconds)
- You are also required to answer the following questions:
- Who will buy your product? Who is your target group?
- Why will people buy your product?
- What problem does it solve?
- Where is your market?
- In addition, remember to include all your materials in the submission, such as codes, sketches, prototypes, etc. If you want to participate in side challenges, remember to check the corresponding fields.

Best Use of Wix Velo
Rules: The top 5 teams use of the Wix Velo for developing a Web app presentation in the project.
Each of the Top 5 teams’ members will be given a Wix code worthy of $150+
FYI. Each code will allow students to upgrade their Wix website to one of the following premium plans for free, for 1-year: Combo or Unlimited. *All codes expire on 12/31/23

Gold Prize by Pioneer Square Lab
This prize, $1000 in cash, will award to the team that wins the top score under the final round of judging criteria in live pitching.
Silver Prize
This prize, $600 in cash, will award to the team that wins the second place overall score under the final round of judging criteria in live pitching.
Bronze Prize by Tripalink
This prize, $400 in cash, will award to the team that wins the third place overall score under the final round of judging criteria in live pitching.

Judging Criteria

1. Best Design (0-10 points) (toward a category award for the highest score)
How does the product visually look? Is the interface user-friendly? Has the product's design put users in mind? (maybe consider heuristic evaluation) Is the information well organized and presented? -
2. Most Technical (0-10 points) (toward a category award for the highest score)
How difficult/impressive is the technical aspect of the hack? How complex does the hacker's project make? Did the technology involved use particular components, clever technique, or the "wow" factor? -
3. Best General (0-10 points) (toward the final round for top 10 projects)
What's your general impression of this project? Here are some directions you may take into consideration: Next step, Completion, Adherence to Theme, Originality, Presentation, Design, Technology, etc.
